Flowing into June
Nu.Folk.Web.Shop.
Hello and Good evening to you all.
Last time I checked in was at the start of show season in may, it was a treat to meet new folks and connect with creatives around the. Hudson valley. I took a trip down to Tennessee to spend time with my family, greet the fireflies, and touch rivers.
I have listed Nu.Folk, my latest of work, to offer my online supporters. As always, feel free to reach out about size curation, garment reclaims, or custom paintings.
Personally my favorites from this collection have to be the sawtooth linen pants. Bold, graphic, and playful, these large painted quilt patches give so much character to an outfit. Soft mono-chrome or bright vintage colors. Dealer’s choice.
Favorite jacket goes to this vintage Levi’s Dream. Perfectly sun worn (the waves on the arms kill me), this jacket was pulled back into the wearable world with visible mending over the shoulders, cuffs, and arms. I love how sturdy these old jackets are, and the more love, the more mending so this was a really well loved.
Final featured item is unique, I was gifted vintage fabric pastels a while back. These are just like paper pastels and the colors, mix, and hand of each drawing really changed for each item. It’s siblings have sold but I’d love to make more doodled shirts.
Thanks for looking, there’s really so much more on the website. AND some new mark downs so go take a peak around.
