December Drop
Tees, Crewnecks, and gift-ables
I know your inbox is filling up with holiday promotions at the same rate mine is, but what’s another plug when it’s a friend? Or when it’s a sustainable small business that you love? If you read to the end, I’ll tell you a fun story of the first snow upstate.

Shop the December Drop and check out all the goodies.
Starting at just $40, you’ll get free shipping on orders over $100! The shipping cut-off is December 20th, so be sure to take a look before we wrap up this year. If you’re interested in gifting a custom piece, feel free to reply or reach out by email for a gift card!
I have been receiving more interest in dye services, and I want to reiterate that I -love- when y’all send me your garments. From over-dyeing to printing and painting, let’s create something really special together.
There’s new work to try on in-person at Made X Hudson, in both Catskill and Hudson. If you’re one of my Philly folks, Big Top Vintage has shirts and gifts from me.
I really appreciate the support from y’all this year. It has held a lot of big moves and transitions. I’m looking forward to more color, painting, and sharing stories in the new year.
…..okay now for the story.
There’s been a little Cooper’s Hawk that has been in my backyard, normally just perched high in a tree, looking greedily at the neighbors’ chickens. It was the first true snow upstate. I was working from home, about to make myself lunch, when I heard a rustling off the screened-in porch. Then bam, there’s a hawk. Inside the porch. Chasing after a little finch. (I’m a huge bird nerd, and a former homeschool kid, this is my dream) With my partner filming, I don some blue light glasses, a hoodie cinched up tight around my face, and a towel to protect my hands.
Luckily, very gently, I was able to catch them and escort them outside. Now I feel like I should go volunteer at a bird sanctuary because it was so, so, so beautiful up close. They flew away into the yard and rested for a while. Both the finch and the hawk went on their way without too much bother.
Thanks for reading, I hope you all stay cozy!
Be well,
Moth.
